Tirupur: The DMK President, M K Stalin stated that DMK would hold an appreciation ceremony for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister if he can bring all the investments to Tamil Nadu as promised. M K Stalin opined thus while addressing the media after attending a wedding function hosted by ex-Minister Saminathan's family in Nachipalayam, Tirupur.
Tirupur: The DMK President, M K Stalin stated that DMK would hold an appreciation ceremony for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister if he can bring all the investments to Tamil Nadu as promised. M K Stalin opined thus while addressing the media after attending a wedding function hosted by ex-Minister Saminathan's family in Nachipalayam, Tirupur.
"Patience always wins and now we are being patient, before our huge victory in the future," he stated. Durga Stalin, senior leaders like T R Balu, Ponmudi, A V Velu, and KMTK General Secretary Eashwaran also participated in the wedding ceremony.
In response to the BJP leader C P Radhakrishnan's opinion that after Kalaignar, Stalin's hard work had defeated all of them and encouraged them to work even harder, M K Stalin said, "We did not defeat you, you have just lost and that too because of the people and not DMK." He also added, "After DMK rose to power in 1967, we were the first to bring about an Act to support inter-caste marriage. We are now being patient before we make the big move towards victory. The economy of Tamil Nadu is very weak now and it will be a great move if the CM can bring all the investments to TN, along with his ministers who have travelled abroad." M K Stalin took a dig at the ADMK Government calling it a "tourism government."
"The CM has claimed that he has gained over 2000 crores of investment in the second world investors forum. It is a complete lie. If the CM can bring home all the investments to TN as promised, then DMK is ready to hold a felicitation ceremony for the CM. But, the TN people will see the light of hope only if they continue to support DMK as they did during the parliamentary elections."
